I have used the camera on the iPad and put the iPad on a tripod to video. I uploaded the movies to iMovie and used iMovie to clip the video's and add slow motion.
When done, I uploaded the video's to my youtube channel and shared them on twitter.
I will add QR-codes on my site, just like all the gymnastics videos so you can download them and use them in your class.
If you have ideas for videos, let me know and I can make more and upload/share them with you.
I have just finished a grade 5 striking unit. Our central idea in the unit was: "analysing your opponents strength and weaknesses helps your team to act and re-act.
The summative assessment in this unit was: create a personal skill poster and analysis video for one striking skill. Students videoed in PE and created the posters and video in ICT.
My video's helped them with their analysis and gave them ideas how to create their video.
