In my Striking unit with grade 5 this year we focused on
the PE central idea: Analysing your opponents strengths and weaknesses helps your team to act and re-act.
The assessment task the students have is to analyse one of their own striking skills. This could be a overarm throw, a T-ball strike or Cricket Batting. To provide proper research materials for them and to know whether what I ask them to do is doable. In another blog I will explain how this fitted in the Unit and what the exact task was.
