I attended quite a few sessions related to ICT in the classroom ranging from legal restrictions, cloud use, data protection to twitter in the classroom, weebly portfolios and the future of education in the digital age. Please click here for the presentations that were on offer (to be updated soon). I felt like a kid in a candy store and fully enjoyed all the sessions. I am following several new people on twitter and hopefully they will start to follow my blog here and check out the ideas and actions I take within PE here at BBIS.
Now, being back in Berlin, the process of digestion has started and already the process of planning will kick in. I have several ideas that I would like to start working on and one of the most important one is creating student individual e-portfolios. I have those already now but they are controlled by me. The next step is to have the school allow me to create portfolios that are password protected and therefore student run. This will enhance learning, create the opportunity to comment on student work within their portfolios and for them to share their work with others more effectively.
If you work with stduents in E-portfolios, get in contact with me so I can learn from your ideas.
